The March Report

Posted on Tuesday, March 3rd, 2009 in News

February was a short month  - but a good one!

Our stats show that we had 270,000 unique visitors, 700,000 visits and over 2 million pageviews. Our membership also increased to 10,500.

During the month, we sent out over 12,000 Birthday Requests for 270 Birthdays.

Our January Birthday Stats read like this :

Birthdays : 133 Requests : 6,694 Total request Amount $29,411

Confirmed Paid Pass No-Show Fail*
Members 573 1,267 208 4,636 10
Amount $2,652 $5,412 $918 $20,383 $46
* Email failure

These figures are disappointing !

They show that 69% of our Members simply ignore Birthday Requests - and that is over $20,000 that should have been donated and wasn’t! They also show that only 25% of Members who take the trouble to Pay the Birthday Boy/Girl fail to forward the AlertPay confirmation email, and, unfortunately, we have no other way of confirming your payment and updating your Rating. For January only, requests that are shown as Paid will not incur any penalty but they also will not increase your Rating.

As for the No-Shows, the rules will be applied very strictly so, if you ignored a Birthday Request - expect your Rating to drop!

Within the next few days, expect to see the following

  1. We will introduce a simple procedure that will confirm your AlertPay status - the whole process takes about ten minutes out of your life and will ensure that your Rating is updated immediately a donation has been made. This procedure will become mandatory from May 1; in other words, if you have not confirmed your AlertPay status, we will not send a Birthday Request for you.
  2. We will offer Gift Vouchers at values of $10.00 to $60.00 - plus a 10% handling fee. Gift Vouchers are designed to be given to people that you would like to have join you in BBC but just don’t have the cash to do so. Holders of Gift Vouchers will not receive Birthday Requests as their Birthday donations will be paid automatically. Whilst Gift Vouchers are designed to be given to other people, there is no reason why you cannot use them yourself :-)
  3. We will introduce an Ad Credit Exchange where you can offer your Ad Credits for sale to other Members. The exchange is subject to a minimum value of $20.00 and a handling charge of 10% will be charged to buyers. So, if you don’t want to advertise yourself, put your Ad Credits into the Exchange and recover some of your donations!

Looking forward to a Great Month in March - thanks to everyone for your support :-)

It is really disappointing to read those stats.
Why do these people join if they are not going
    to participate?

Could you delete the accounts of the people who
are not participating? Then our networks would
    be more realistic.

You are doing a great job TOM!!

Even though the figures are somewhat disappointing, it’s good to see that the system is moving forward with new ideas, and I still think that this club is an exciting and brilliant opportunity. So thank you Tom.

These are my views about the lack of activity, and also the low rate of birthday payments made.

    1. Experienced networkers know that only 20% of the membership will do 80% of the work - so nothing new there.

    2. Many people join a ‘free’ site because it is just that - free with no commitment! We will always have a large percentage of time wasters. Like Bonnie, I also hope that admin will take the necessary action to delete people as the system progresses.

    3. This in my view is the important point.
Good communication is the life blood of any network, and many of the existing members will have had very little, maybe even, NO communication from their sponsors, upline or admin. I believe that Tom may be starting a newsletter - I don’t mean the hacker one that arrived yesterday! I sincerely hope he will, as this will undoubtedly have a positive effect for March and April as people begin to realise that the club IS up and running, and that people ARE getting birthday bonuses! It will be interesting to see the stats next month.
And of course, we will soon be able to send group emails too - another big plus.

But don’t let’s leave it to chance. Everyone of us should take responsibility to keep in touch with people who we personally sponsor. So may I suggest through this page, that we get back to everyone over the next few days and ask them to check that their personal details are correct- especially their Alert Pay accounts and emails - and also ask them if they actually understand what the club is all about. Even though it is so simple, there will be many that don’t understand!

I appreciate that with only two people supporting the network, it is difficult for admin, but a regular newsletter and a FAQ page will definitely take much of the unnecessary duplicated questions away from them.

February stats may be a little disappointing, but if we all work together to communicate with our groups, the next two months will undoubtedly see an increase.

I paid my people. I had 2 birthdays last month, but they did not have referrals. I never got an email from them. I will pay all members. I promise. It is sad when people don’t set aside the minimum of 60 a year. That really is not much.

  4. Mary McAdams Says:

How do you check your confirmed status? I do have my bank account set up on alertpay. I am still not able to veryify my account. I think it’s a good system

  5. Aniceto Says:

I am interested to get a voucher for $60. How do I do that? I think this is great (kind of renewable every year?), buy a few for others and/or replenish the $60 every year for oneself?
Looking forward to hear from you. Thank you.

any one say me i m new in brithday club how to eraning money and how iit work pllzzz help

  7. Pamela Says:

I have paid all my requests except the one I just got and I have to wait for money to go into my AlertPay account for that one, because even though only $2 is recommended, I pay everyone $5. I was unable to receive any gifts for my birthday because I can’t afford to upgrade my AlertPay account yet. What it would cost me over the course of the next year in fees is more than I would have received here, so I had to let it go. I’ve lost several referrals I had, I don’t know if they quit or it’s a glitch or what, but even the active ones never replied to the email I sent about my AlertPay problem.

I think maybe people drop out because of having to upgrade on AlertPay, so they don’t officially quit, they just don’t function. That might account for some of the non payers? I did find out though, it is because of using the button on this site to get to AlertPay that we have to be upgraded. So if people just went straight to AlertPay and put our email address in, they could pay us without us having to upgrade. That would have allowed me to get paid this year. I really don’t see why we couldn’t do that, since we have to manually send in proof we paid anyway. Which brings me to another thing….I sent my proof in for my last one at the beginning of May and it’s still not credited. So maybe that is also part of the high numbers of non payers….payers who paid, sent proof and still didn’t get credited. So now I’m on my way to resend that.

Oh yeah, and I think I finally got my Moneybookers straightened out, only to find out that people in the US can’t use it to make payments, so that’s kind of a problem, eh?

Hi, I just signed up, and received the invitation to log in on your Birthday. I entered my name, and on second try, my user name and password. both times, I got an invalid user or Password error.

Do I have to wait for the verification e-mail before I log in???
Please reply to my primary at:

    Thanks!
