Secondly - I must apologize for the delay in getting back to some of you
.. and, Finally - I have some really GOOD NEWS for all our Members
Hope you all had a fabulous New Year and I hope that every one of you will enjoy a memorable 2009. More precisely, I hope that Birthday Bonus Club adds to your enjoyment of it 
Now for the apology ..
The popularity of Birthday Bonus Club has been amazing! .. and I have to be honest, it has caught me “on the hop”.
On Monday I had to visit the Doctor and then interview two young ladies to help me out with emails, etc. That took most of the day - during which time the number of emails piled up - and UP and UP!
I am gradually catching up but still have about 100 to handle. I have had to adopt the following policy for emails
- If you are offering me any sort of “new opportunity” - you are wasting your time - I just don’t have the time to read / view website
- If you are just want to say “Hi!” - Hi to you too!
- If you are using any sort of email protection that involves me having to visit a website and strain my eyes to decipher a captcha - it goes into the To Do Box - priority #9 - it will get handled when I have the time
- If it’s in German, it goes to the To Do Box and I’ll take it to the pub at close of business for translation - you should get a reply tomorrow
- If it involves serious database investigation, it goes into the To Do Box but with priority #1
- All of the rest get answered as I get to them
I’m sure this situation will resolve itself fairly quickly so please bear with me over the next few days.

Problems
- OK - I was wrong - you were right - I will change it to 3×9 i.s.o 9×3 !
- Wrong Sponsor - this problem is gradually sorting itself out but, in future, the welcome email will contain a link so that the new member can remove the incorrect sponsor and enter the correct one. Once this is implemented, new members will NOT be able to change their sponsor under any circumstances.
- Where did my Referral GO? - right now, Birthday Bonus Club is very active and, even though you might have received an email telling you that you have a new referral, there is no guarantee that she will be in your first level. If your sponsor is active, it’s quite possible that your first level will be full before you make your first referral! Please log in and click on My Network.
- That’s not my Birthday! - quite purposely, there are no user facilities for changing your Birthday - so - the only place where you can enter your birth date is on the signup form - and it’s no good saying that you didn’t notice it! If it is incorrect, please use the Contact form to provide the correct date and we will change it. (But, it might spend some time in the ToDo Box :-))
- Can I enrol my Grandkids ? Sorry - but since cash is involved - and to comply with AlertPay’s terms, we cannot accept members under the age of 18 years.
- Why can’t I use Paypal ? Sorry again - but we operate in South Africa and, whilst Paypal are quite happy to accept our money for payments, we are not allowed to receive payments with them. Net result - No Paypal!

Believe me, I really do appreciate the suggestions and, in most cases, I will implement them as soon as I can. They include :
- Tell Your Friends - which allows you to send invitations to your friends - is in the pipeline and will be available in the next few days
- Contact people in my Network - I am working on this but, for privacy reasons, it will take the form of “profiles” for every member in which the member will decide who can contact him/her. Almost certainly, this will operate on a Private Message basis rather than email
- Translations - the lady who will look after my German translation is sitting in my office right now and I hope to have someone to work on a Spanish version soon. The problem is not so much the text itself but the changes that need to be made to the system to handle multiple versions. This will take a few days (nights ?) but will be available in the near future. Once again, please be patient.
- My own suggestion - a Getting Started page - we have many new members who have never tried anything like this before and I feel that a “newbies” page might go a long way to reducing my email load
…but WAIT - that’s not ALL!
As many of you will be aware, in any plan like this, I am required by law to provide you with “Goods or Services equal in value to the amount that you are charged for membership”. As you are all aware - membership of Birthday Bonus Club is entirely FREE - so, technically, I am providing you with Goods /Service equal to that value - ie. ZILCH!
However, to be “super-legal” I am making you an offer :
For every dollar that you donate to another Member’s Birthday Bonus
I will add $1.00 to your Personal Advertising Account !
What that means is that when you donate (say) $5.00 to Joe’s Birthday Bonus - and the payment is confirmed - $5.00 will be credited to your Personal Advertising Account
What can you advertise ?
Just about anything except porn! If you have a favorite social network - Yuwie - ZenZuu - etc. you can use your credits to put up your referral banner - Birthday Bonus Club could be a great way to increase your referrals! Maybe you run your own business - online or bricks & mortar - we can narrow down ads to specific countries, states and cities - use your ad credits to advertise your business.
Don’t have anything to sell - sell your credits - for cash! As part of the schedule for implementing this, there will be an exchange page where you will be able to buy and sell credits.
Is it worth advertising here ?
Take a look at the growth - on Christmas Eve we hit 200 Members (after 19 days) - today we passed 2,000 and that is likley to be 5,000 by the end of the end of the week. In our first month of operation, I will exceed one million page-views - so, what do you think!

Excellent Admin keep up the good work. I speak Spanish as well so if I can help with anything please do let me know I will be happy to be of service. I tell you the Advertising credits is very very generous of you I am truly excited about that.
You have so awesome ideas and I can’t wait to see how this site explodes into it’s awesomeness!! I have been advertising like crazy everywhere I can ( respectfully ) without being a spam bucket of course LOL.

I have tried to place the club on some traffic exchanges and they have been suspended. Why?
Also, Facebook is spreading a serious rumor that the club’s site is a pyramid scam!

Hey, man, great site, great idea, great program.. and wonderful news that it will be available in German and Spanish soon. So I will wait introducing/promoting this program to my German and Spanish friends in English, since many many of them don’t understand English and it would be a matter of trust and/or a waist of time and effort to send them English descriptions. Hope it will me multi language d soon…
