Getting Paid & Paying

All Birthday Bonus Club payments are made using AlertPay - and they are made directly to the Birthday Boy or Girl - never to Birthday Bonus Club!

When one of your Birthdays is due, you will receive an email to notify you of the fact. The email will contain

  • The name of the Birthday Boy or Girl
  • His/her Rating
  • A recommended amount
  • A Link to a Payment Page
  • The email address for your Payment Confirmation

The Payment Page offers a number of options

The highlighted button is the amount that we recommend, based on the member’s Personal Rating. The options you have are :

  1. Pay the recommended amount - click on the highlighted button
  2. Pay any other amount - click on the button of your choice
  3. Pass - click on the Pass button

Your Personal Rating will be affected by the amount that you decide to pay. Paying the recommended amount increases your rating by +1; paying any other amount affects your rating by the difference between the recommended amount and your payment.

Each of the buttons is a link to your AlertPay Account with the recipient and amount already set for you. All you need to do is to authorize the payment. AlertPay.

AlertPay. will confirm your payment by email and we ask you to forward the Payment Confirmation email to the email address mentioned above. We will then update your Rating dependent on your payment.

In the example above, your payment would affect your Personal Rating as follows

  • $5.00 - plus 2 points
  • $4.00 (recommended) - plus 1 point
  • $3.00 - minus 1 point
  • $2.00 - minus 2 points
  • Pass - minus 4 points - remember you can Pass a maximum of three times in any one year

Every so often, you may receive a Birthday request in which we recommend that you Pass! - this is the one case where you can Pass a Birthday without it affecting your Personal Rating in any way. It simply means that the Birthday Boy/Girl has no rating - no referrals and underpaid - and, if you want to, you may Pass the Request. But - you can also use these as an opportunity to improve your own Rating! - just a $2.00 donation improves your own rating by 2 points.
