New Model Update

Members of BBC

We are in the process of Discussion about the New Model, it would be a viable option but unfortunately we have come to the conclusion that if we make Birthday Bonus Club a Subscription service, even though gifts would be generated in a timely fashion and everyone would be remunerated like they should, with no passing or ignoring of BBC requests, it would be an impossibility to fins a payment processor to back us or provide us the service of middle man for payments.

This would seem to be illegal as when we make BBC a subscription service it would inevitably become a pyrimad scheme even if that is not the intention of BBC.

We welcome all suggestions from our members and would appreciate correspondence on this subject.

Christmas Greetings

Posted on December 23rd, 2009 in Uncategorized

Put your problems on probation
Run your troubles off the track,
Throw your worries out the window
Get the monkeys off your back.
Silence all your inner critics
With your conscience make amends,
And allow yourself some happiness
It’s Christmas time again!
Call a truce with those who bother you
Let all the fighting cease,
Give your differences a breather
And declare a time of peace,
Don’t let angry feelings taint
The precious time you have to spend,
And allow yourself some happiness
It’s Christmas time again!
Like some cool refreshing water
Or a gentle summer breeze,
Like a fresh bouquet of flowers
Or the smell of autumn leaves,
It’s a banquet for the spirit
Filled with family, food and friends,
So allow yourself some happiness
It’s Christmas time again!

A New Model

Posted on September 14th, 2009 in News

Firstly, if you are waiting on a reply to an email, apologies but our local telco (Telkom) lost our landline connection three weeks ago and is making no attempt to repair it! I am working through my Internet Cafe at present but will have a new connection within the next few days.

In the mean time, I have just spent a week in the bush and the fresh air and long walks seems to provoke new thoughts and I believe that I have the bones of a new model for 2010 that will benefit everyone. Read the rest of this entry »

BBC Stage 2

Posted on August 18th, 2009 in News

Firstly, may I apologise for the recent downtime. There was a problem with our database server and - on investigation - it was found to be self-inflicted. I have slapped myself on the wrist, fixed the problem and, hopefully, it will not happen again :-)

    Verifiction is the Wrong Word!

Posted on April 3rd, 2009 in Uncategorized

Just a quick word about the use of the word “verification” in relation to AlertPay in my earlier post.

Our AlertPay “verification” has nothing whatsoever to do with AlertPay’s need for verification of your identity and address!

    The Need for Verification

Posted on April 1st, 2009 in News

Sorry if I haven’t answered emails, etc but I have been off sick for two days and come back to a national network problem. These things happen.

I have received some emails and comments have been posted both here and in the Forum regarding verification for AlertPay. Even if you have used AlertPay successfully to make donations, we will still ask you to go through the Verification process. It takes five minutes out of you life and it’s free!

As most of you will be aware, AlertPay is currently unable to process credit cards and this is affecting the whole Birthday Bonus Club operation. So - I have had to look for an alternative.
